Dave is Luke’s best friend- they have literally known each other since birth, as their mothers lived next door to one another and were pregnant at the same time! Thirty years later, Dave will be Luke’s best man. Karen has been a major blessing to me. I moved to New Jersey two years ago and I didn’t know anybody, but then I met Karen. We hit it off immediately and have become great friends since!
This summer Dave and Karen moved into this house in Rockaway, NJ, and they asked me to shoot some photos for their Christmas card. I had Luke holding my SB600 behind them for an accent and my pop-up flash as trigger plus eye sparkle/fill light. This is one of my favorites- of course we have wide shots as well where you can see the whole house, but I like the intimacy of the tight shot while just seeing some key features of the home.
