Cabin Bugs

Thursday, July 12th, 2012

There are a lot of animals and critters in Northern Minnesota, but some of the prettiest and scariest things are pretty darn small. Dragonflies hop from lily pad to lily pad in the lake, occasionally resting on a stick or the dock.

Spiders are common sights in the outhouse, but once in a while you’ll spot a big one like this in the cabin! Not to worry, it’s harmless…

Coyne PR Day at the Races

“The horse, with beauty unsurpassed, strength immeasurable and grace unlike any other, still remains humble enough to carry a man upon his back.”
― Amber Senti

This year for Coyne PR’s summer employee appreciation day, we took a day to head down to the Monmouth Park Race Track. The heat was sweltering and to be honest, I barely left the shade to shoot any photos- I just got a few before grabbing more ice water! I felt pretty bad for the horses, and it actually left me wondering… do horses run faster in this kind of heat because they are so warmed up, or do they run slower because the heat exhausts them?
