…Just old-school black and white film photography! I have been digging through the office and organizing, and stumbled upon this project I did in college. I was doing my own take on Richard Avedon- not all studio portraits of celebrities obviously, but attempting to show an aspect of my subject’s personalities on film! I still think I did a pretty good job…

By the way, I know I have been slacking on this blog! As I come across more of my “vintage” pieces I may add them, and I have a ton of photos I haven’t even had time to look through muchless post… Hopefully there will be more posts coming soon!

A few weeks ago, I got a chance to spend some quality time with Dave and Alexis, and their adorable newborn Jason! They were getting ready to move to a new family-sized home but wanted to capture the moment when Jason was still tiny… I can’t wait to see how this future baseball player turns out!

I was so honored to get to spend some time with baby Ty and his parents- what a happy, lucky little boy! Karen helped me out with the shoot (it was, after all, her brother, sis-in-law and nephew!) Without further ado…

Meg and Erik have long been anticipating the birth of their first son. When I shot pregnancy photos with them, I was sworn to secrecy on the name they chose for their baby… The cat came out of the bag on April 12, 2012 when Meg gave birth to little Tyler Bryce. I know this post is delayed, but I am now able to show the images we shot with his name! Not to worry, my next post will be full of photos of the adorable baby!

The day finally arrived… After (what seemed like) a long engagement, and a LOT of planning, Karen and Dave’s wedding day was here. All us bridesmaids worked late into the night after the rehearsal dinner on Friday night on some last minute details, then got up early to get ready for the big event. I only shot some photos of intimate moments in the morning- the rest of the day and event I left up to the photographer, Josh Lynn.

Remember when Karen and Dave got engaged on Christmas? They used the photo I shot of the proposal ornament along with their engagement photos for their beautifully put-together guest book:

I didn’t go to the salon in the morning because I was doing my own hair and make-up, but the girls all came back looking gorgeous!

It ended up being an amazing day and beautiful wedding… I am so happy for these two people who have become such close friends!!!

Remember last May when Meg and Erik tied the knot? Well, it’s about ten months later and they are just a few days from the due date of their first baby boy! I headed over to their house on Thursday after work and though we only had a short time with daylight, we got a bunch of great photos! I am sworn to secrecy on the baby name so for now, here are some glamor shots!
